- Distinct impression of coal being delivered to our basement through a chute.
- When you went inside the door of 1606, you climbed a flight of stairs to enter our home. There was a black grating for the heat in the entrance hallway, and the washroom straight past it. The living room and kitchen were on the left, the living room facing the street and the kitchen our backyard.

I Loved:
- the hula hoop
- catching grasshoppers in fields near our home, putting them into jars
- going into my closet to see the fluorescent cross from St Joseph's Oratory light up
